How long until I get paid?

We aim for 24 hours from the moment your phone arrives at our Brisbane or Sydney facility. Most transfers go through OSKO and hit your account the same day.

What if my phone is cracked or faulty?

We still buy. Pick "Faulty / Dead" in the quote flow and tick any damage like a cracked screen — you’ll get a lower but fair price. We resell parts and give old devices a second life.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. We email you a prepaid AusPost Express or Parcel label. Drop it at any red AusPost box, or book a pickup. No out-of-pocket costs.

What happens to my data?

We perform a NIST 800-88 compliant data erasure on every device. You’ll receive a wipe certificate by email once it’s complete.

What if your inspection finds something different to what I said?

We’ll email you with a revised offer and photos. Accept it, or say no and we ship it back free. No pressure, no re-stocking fees.

Do you buy Androids, iPads, or MacBooks?

iPhone-only for now. We’re an iPhone specialist so we can pay more for what we know. iPad and Mac buyback is on the roadmap for late 2026.

How much will I get for my iPhone?

The price depends on your iPhone model, storage capacity, and condition. Use our Get Quote tool to receive an instant quote. Prices are based on current market rates and are valid for 7 days.

What devices do you accept?

We currently accept iPhones from iPhone 11 and newer models. Devices must not be iCloud locked, activation locked, reported stolen, or under any finance agreement.

Do I need to remove my data before shipping?

Yes! You are responsible for backing up and removing all personal data from your device. We recommend following our Device Preparation Guide, which includes signing out of iCloud, disabling Find My iPhone, and performing a factory reset.

What if my device is locked or under contract?

Devices that are iCloud locked, PIN locked, activation locked, or under finance agreements are not eligible. Locked or stolen devices will not be returned and may be reported to authorities.

How long is my quote valid?

All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. You must ship your device within this timeframe. After 7 days, you’ll need to request a new quote as market prices may have changed.

Can I cancel after I’ve shipped my device?

Once a device is shipped, the transaction cannot be cancelled. However, if we provide a revised offer and you decline it, we can arrange return shipping at your expense.

What happens to my device after you buy it?

All devices are factory reset upon receipt to ensure your data is completely removed. Devices are then refurbished (if needed) and resold to customers looking for quality pre-owned iPhones.

Do you buy devices with damage?

Yes! We buy devices with various types of damage including cracked screens, back glass damage, camera issues, battery problems, and more. The quote will be adjusted based on the specific damage reported.

What if my device is water damaged?

We do accept water-damaged devices, but this significantly affects the price. Choose "Faulty / Dead" when getting your quote and tick "Water damaged" so we can give you an accurate offer.

Do I need to include the original box or accessories?

No, you only need to send the iPhone itself. Original boxes, chargers, and accessories are not required and will not increase the offer price.

How do I track my shipment?

Once you ship your device using our prepaid label, you’ll receive a tracking number from Australia Post. You can use this to monitor your package until it reaches us.

What if my device gets lost during shipping?

Risk of loss or damage transfers to Rebooted AU upon receipt by the carrier. Our prepaid labels include tracking and insurance, so your device is protected during transit.

Can I sell multiple devices?

Yes! Simply create a separate quote for each device you want to sell. Each device will be inspected and paid for individually.

Do you charge any fees?

No hidden fees! The quote you receive is exactly what you’ll be paid (assuming the device condition matches your description). Shipping is free, and there are no processing fees.

What payment methods do you offer?

We currently offer payment via direct bank transfer (EFT) to Australian bank accounts. Payment is processed within 24 hours of device approval.
